Zimosis

B&W photography+sepia tone, wood, 2002

The photographic lens of Constanti, in Zimosis, focuses on human skin, which is ‘mould’ by a pain of hands: no indication of the gender of either the body being ‘moulded’ or the owner of the moulding hands. Whichever polarity or interaction, is contained in these images, is located not in gender, but in the dual, spiritual and corporeal, nature of the human body.
